Kid Country

In the early days of Mount Holly, the road (now Cole Road) that led past the Clifford house was a "busy" turnpike.

Cole Road continues past Clifford Country B&B and crosses a bubbling brook before returning to the modern highway and the "other" world.

Wildflowers and stately sugar maples (the Vermont state tree) grace the landscape around Clifford Country B&B.
A visit from a flock of wild turkeys is an exciting event. Other wildlife include deer, fox, woodchuck, chipmunks and an occasional moose.
