Located in the heart of the Green Mountains, Mount Holly is only a short drive to many great restaurants, galleries, historical attractions, and outdoor activities.

Though a small town by most people's standards, Mount Holly boasts many cultural activities: Thursday evenings throughout the summer, Belmont village hosts the “Music on the Green” series featuring local artists, a Sunday Farmers' Market, 4th of July parade, ArtFest, and an annual square dance in the street. We also have a beautifully renovated library with an excellent selection of old and current books.

In the Fall, there are many activities to choose from including Belmont’s Cider Days on Columbus Day Weekend featuring cider pressing, food and craft vendors, as well as a local photography contest.

Neighboring Weston is home to both the world-class Weston Playhouse and the Vermont Country Store (where you will find everything from wool socks to long-lost apothecary brands and an irresistable selection of candies, cheeses, jams, and other delicious food items).
